Product Description

In January 1976 the "Stroke Eight" models of series W114/115 were succeeded by a model series with a totally new design, known internally as W123.
Models ranged from the 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel with 55 hp to the 2.8-litre six-cylinder injector with 185 hp.
Production of model series 123 came to an end in November 1985, around a year after series production of the successor model series 124 had begun. During 10 years of production, just under 2.7 million models were built, across all variants, including 2,375,440 saloons, 13,700 long-wheelbase saloons and 8373 chassis for special bodies.
