Updated navigation data for the COMAND APS (NTG1) navigation device.

The DVD is packed with navigation data for 38 European countries, with major and minor roads, towns, villages and plenty of points of interest:
Albania, Andorra, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia (FYROM), Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary and Vatican City.

The 2018/2019 version covers the whole of Western Europe.
The navigation data on the 2018/2019 version covers over 10.5 million kilometres of road throughout Europe.

In addition to the Baltic states, Greece, Croatia, Poland, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary in Eastern Europe, full coverage is also provided for Bulgaria and Romania.

Prime Coverage* has been significantly expanded in the following countries:
Poland: + 2 percent, Czech Republic: +3 percent.

Intensive work means that the quality of the maps for the Czech Republic has been significantly increased (110,540 km Prime Coverage*, compared with 101,622 km in the previous version).

The 2018/2019 version features 90,789 towns and communities.

Precise navigation to the required house number expanded:
While the house numbers are more or less entirely incorporated for the central and northern European countries, we were able to improve coverage for the following countries: Bulgaria: +5 percent, Serbia: + 16 percent.

Points of Interest (POI):
Almost 3 million key points of interest are featured on the DVD, including filling stations, car parks, museums, restaurants and hospitals. There are around 291,000 more POIs here than with the previous version. If required, the navigation system will also show the user the quickest route to 2928 Mercedes-Benz service outlets. Some 44,579 restaurants and 15,756 nightlife destinations have been added to the new 2018/2019 version.

Dynamic route guidance based on the latest traffic data (TMC/RDS):
Using the data from the Traffic Message Channel, the navigation system takes into account the latest motorway traffic bulletins and automatically calculates diversions. This convenient service is now available in 38 countries.

Road network updates:
Map updates include millions of changes, e.g. new roads, crossroads, bypasses, junctions and motorway slip roads and exits. One section of road may feature up to 260 attributes, such as the number of lanes or one-way streets. All of these attributes and the vast number of Points Of Interest have to be updated constantly. In this new version, for example, over 82,763 roundabouts, 417,450 turning restrictions, 188,648 one-way streets and 1,794,643 street names have been updated. In addition, over 1,325,177 kilometres of road have been updated, including approx. 21,920 sections of motorway and dual carriageway.

Note:
Changes to the software mean that model series C215, W/V220 and R230 are no longer compatible with this DVD version! The last DVD to be compatible with the above model series is Version 12.0.
