Product Description

Following an unsuccessful year in 1936, DBAG made a comeback in 1937 with the new W125. The car drew on the expertise of engineer Rudolf Uhlenhaut, who succeeded in taking the Mercedes-Benz race cars back to the head of the pack.
The W125 was the first Daimler‑Benz racing car in which the supercharger was positioned behind the carburettors so that the already prepared mixture was compressed.
Rudolf Caracciola won the European Championship in the Mercedes-Benz 750 kg Formula racing car in 1935 (W25), 1937 (W125) and 1938 (W154).

W125, Caracciola, Germany GP, 1937, silver. Diecast metal. Scale 1:43. Genuine paintwork colours. Accurate reproduction. High-quality printed interior. In presentation box, mounted on printed base. By Minimax for Mercedes-Benz.
