The AMG calendar 2014 explores the limits of physics – visually at least. The AMG vehicles are presented in virtual landscapes created by manipulating specific CAD data. The starting point for each picture is a model-specific technical feature such as a ceramic brake disc, a rear wing, etc. The three-dimensional data for these components is brought to the point of “explosion” by altering the software settings. This creates surreal, visually stunning topographies as a dynamic backdrop for the current AMG vehicles. The calendar is a homage to the AMG engineers who continuously challenge the limits of physics in order to boost the performance and dynamic handling of our AMG vehicles. The AMG calendar artistically represents their endeavours in a series of extraordinary and compelling images. The AMG calender 2014 shows the art of engineering in the truest sense of the words.
