The O 3500 was the first newly developed bus of the postwar period and was produced in Mannheim. Beneath the bonnet it featured the same engine as the L 3500. Both vehicles were launched at the same time. 6049 units were produced, making the O 3500 the most successful bus of its day. 1949-1955.
